Inter Milan are reportedly preparing a £ 17 million bid to sign Gareth Barry from Manchester city.The Manchester City midfielder is top of new manager Leonardo's list of transfer targets, according to TalkSPORT.

With Gareth Barry under contract at Eastlands until 2014, it will take a large bid to make City part company with the England international.

It is understood that Inter are prepared to up their bid further if an initial offer of £17m is rejected.
